Even as we spotlight the essence of a Japanese summer and the international character of the Shinagawa area, we will once again this year hold 【Nihon no Natsu Fes】 — an event whose very name, a play on "summer fes(tival)" reimagined as "Natsu Fes," captures how a wealth of content comes together in a single place. By hosting a festival built around Japanese culture, we aim to build Shinagawa's image as "the gateway to Japan and Tokyo," establish it as a fixture of the Shinagawa area's annual calendar, and help shape an international image while encouraging inbound tourism. Through stage performances showcasing traditional Japanese performing arts, a sake booth offering a wide selection of some of Japan's most popular labels, and a craft beer booth to help beat the summer heat, we will roll out a rich lineup of content that brings the spirit of a Japanese festival to life — building momentum for a wide range of activations to come.
